We are seeking a talented, experienced Hair Stylist to join our creative, vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid cosmetology license, at least one year of professional experience, and a proven track record of building and maintaining a loyal client following. 

 

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome clients, manage bookings, and serve walk-ins.

2. Provide hair care services based on client preferences and requests, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.

3. Consult with clients to understand their needs, desires, and expectations, ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service.

4. Offer professional advice on suitable hairstyles, products, and maintenance routines to help clients achieve their desired look and enhance their overall hair health.

5. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and industry developments to offer clients innovative hair styling options.

6. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including sanitizing and sterilizing tools, equipment, and surfaces, in compliance with salon hygiene standards.

7. Manage and maintain a personalized client database; keep track of client preferences, service history, and contact information.

8. Build and expand your client base by attracting new customers through referrals, marketing initiatives, and exceptional service.

9. Collaborate effectively with salon staff members to provide clients with a seamless experience.

10. Adhere to all salon policies, procedures, and regulations.

 

Requirements:

1. Valid cosmetology license.

2. Minimum of one year of professional experience as a Hair Stylist.

3. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a following of clients.

4. Proficiency in various hair care services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.

5. Excellent knowledge of hair care products, tools, and techniques.

6. Strong customer service and communication skills.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

8. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, developments, and techniques.

9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
